Deep Gap, NC's own Professor Shreve is back with a brand new project titled Daddy Love To Rap. One might think that after 12 album releases, FTO's leader might be running out of things to say and/or motivation. With 3 full project releases this year, that hardly seems to be the case.

A journey into the 2017 mind space of one of underground hip hop's most interesting and consistent voices. You can't really discuss North Carolina rap over the last 5 years without mentioning the impact of the Free The Optimus founder on the scene. Daddy Love To Rap finds Shreve exploring a variety of soundscapes, all with deft lyricism and an unmatchable flow and intonation that is all his own.

"On Mommy Love To Dance, I really wanted to push the limits on what I was comfortable with. On Daddy Love To Rap, I picked beats that felt right and really just made an album for me and the FTO listeners."
